London with Preschoolers: Pimlico & Chelsea, Part 3

Kings Road: Peter Jones and Duke of York Square.

Peter Jones, Sloane Square
We like to combine a session at the NAM's kids' zone with lunch at John Lewis' Peter Jones store on Sloane Square. The restaurant has amazing views of the city, a pick-and-choose children’s menu (with healthy-ish options), lots of high chairs, and not-too-busy restrooms (including changing areas for the littler set).
Peter Jones’ children’s department is well-equipped for clothes and toys, but we also tend to stop by Trotters, which is next to Peter Jones on the Kings Road side. They have a hair salon, gorgeous clothes, and a great shoe selection with a loyalty card scheme.

Duke of York Square
If the weather’s good, we'll stop by the Saturday Food Market on Duke of York Square. The square is also home to the Saatchi Gallery – modern large-scale art which T (on her patient days) likes to look at and chat about, and several caf├ęs and restaurants.
